This is another quick project for a friend who approached me to help with her niece's veil for her First Holy Communion. It was basically putting 2 existing items together; a recycled flower girls headband, and about 1m x 1m of soft white tulle.

The tulle was folded almost in half with one extending longer by 60cm. Here's a close-up of the completed pleating at the fold. Next, I sewed on the tulle to the headband, under the little rose ribbons, along the pleat stitching.

The extra pleat gave a fuller front to the veil. Final touches included trimming the veil ends with tapered & longer middle, & rounded corners at the sides.
